It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to our newly launched Melamora College website. Melamora College, the prestigious higher educational institution was established in 1987 and affiliated to Dibrugarh University. It is one of the higher educational institutions situated in tea garden area of Golaghat District.As the vice-principal of this reputed institution, I feel honored and privileged to be a part of this educational institution and I consider it my privilege to convey my message for our college website. I feel very fortunate to work with a committed and supportive management,dedicated and innovative teaching staff and co-operative parents and students .
If your plan is for one year ,plant rice;If your plan is for ten years ,plant trees ; If your plan is for a hundred years ,Educate children.’’-Confucius.
Many people consider education as a medium of getting job,living a royal life ,earning money and much more.But education does not mean this .Education means all round development of the students ,it does not mean only academic achievement of students.Real meaning of education comes when one’s way of thinking gets changed and when one starts thinking for the betterment of the society. Melamora college fraternity always strives for the all round development of the students of this educational temple .We are trying to mould our students into future nation builders .
I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Sanjib Kr Boruah , the Principal of Melamora College for his inspiration,motivation ,guidance and continuous support. I extend my sincere gratitude to all the staff members for their constant support with innovative thinking towards the institution.Finally I would like to thank all the students for their contribution and important role they play in the institution to take the institution to a greater height. I wish a very bright,happy and peaceful future of this academic temple.
